Country Inn the City was founded in 1991 by owners Larry Turk and Fergus O'Brien, following a conversion of their 1891 Upper West Side landmarked limestone townhouse. Our bed and breakfast has since grown from one apartment to four with another on the way. | | | Each bed and breakfast apartment is individually decorated and features a queen bed with a generously-sized living area, a private galley kitchenette, and private bathroom. (No elevator)
Country Inn the City's target market is the discerning adult traveler in search of a high quality yet less expensive alternative to hotels. Our bed and breakfast is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, a perfect place for one to experience New York City living in a desirable neighborhood, one not so far from the tourist attractions as to be considered inconvenient. Well, who needs friends when you have Country Inn the City, a four room bed and breakfast...that is one of New York's secret little gems."
