Clarence Suite (new york)
Clarence Suite/ SLEEPS 2 / 450 + ft2 EACH
Our land-marked New York City bed and breakfast property has been described as eclectic in style with references to "Elizabethan Renaissance." It was designed by then noted architect Clarence True and completed in 1891. Frederick Snow was the first owner in the days that it was a single family residence. Notable owners have included J. Louis Schaefer who was the Vice President of W.R. Grace and president of Grace National Bank, and Emery E. Cochran who was the chief military censor of the War Department during WW1. The inn was also chosen as a location for the popular TV show 'Seinfeld' during the 1990's.
